New Changes for Ippity Chicks

There has been some changes being made at Unity in regard to the Ippity line of stamps.  They have 'endorsed' just 50 Ippity Chicks worldwide and I am excited to announce that I am the only Ippity Chick here in Australia.  I have been super excited about bringing these stamps to our shores and I am honoured to be the only one to do so.

I Am Australia's Endorsed Ippity Chick

To celebrate I am happy to announce that for a short period of time I am offering free postage Australia wide.  So if there are stamps you are after then now is the time to get them.  We are also able to sell the stamps through ETSY or EBAY, which means you can purchase through the site of your choice (we all have our preference right?).  So check out the stamps that are in stock by clicking on either of the links above.

Free Postage Australia Wide

And lastly I would like to let you know that Ippity have a new release due out on June 5th with five gorgeous new stamp sets.  As soon as I can share sneak peeks with you...........I WILL.  So exciting!

Back Again with a Thank You

I haven't been around for a while due to a family holiday to New Zealand.  We had a fabulous time seeing the sights and having some fun there.  But now I am back to work here on my Ippity Blog.

The other day I spent some time making some cute Thank You tags for the purchases that have been made lately.  So if you have made a purchase in the last week you will be receiving one of these in the mail real soon.

I am busy working on this blog tonight to get all the stamp sets up to date with what is in stock.  And I have an announcement to make very, very soon.  So stay tuned won't you!

Cheers

Stamp Of the Day - Cherish your Dreams

Ok, so today I want to highlight this stamp set for you:

Cherish Your Dreams  -  This set is from Ippity's newest release and it is a perfect vintage style stamp set for both cardmaking and scrapbooking.  Today I want to share a card with you I created using these stamps.

I have clear embossed the POST image onto the top and bottom of the card (not that the bottom image really made a showing in the end :) and then inked over them with Fired Brick and Pumice Stone Distress Ink.   I then stamped the Book It! background stamp over the right hand side of the card front.  Then I have stamped the framed flower image onto Kraft cardstock and embossed it with Olive embossing powder, inked over the flowers and inked the edges with Vintage Photo Distress ink.  I then mounted it over the upside down POST part of the image, after applying my crumpled ribbon.  Now a little trick I used with the ribbon so that my staples wouldn't show through to the inside of the card...............staple it to a slim piece of cardstock then adhere it to card front.  Very tricky but soooo easy!

You can purchase this stamp set from HERE (and I have very limited stock left, so be quick) and I will have it out you to in the post immediately.  Stay tuned here for more inspiration with this gorgeous stamp set, I have only just begun to play with it.

Cheers

Cupcake Lovin'

Can you tell I love this stamp set?  We used it recently in the first Ippity Stamp Club and everyone got to go home with their own set.  I have so much fun creating with it.

Here I have stamped the image onto patterned paper and cut all the pieces out separately.  Then layered them up with foam mounting tape.  I love how it gives a different effect than watercolouring.

Here are the projects again that we made in the Ippity Stamp Club.

If you are interested in a kit for these projects, along with the stamp set then email me at scrapalley@gmail.com to register your interest.  You will receive all papers and embellishments to complete five projects (plus left overs), step by step instructions to complete the projects with photos PLUS the Cuppy Cake stamp set.  All for just $35 + postage.

And how cute is this stamp set?  Let me know if you would like it.  (If you would like JUST the stamp set, then head over HERE to purchase it separately)

Cheers

5 Minute Thank you

Life has been so busy these last couple of weeks, with (what felt like) a million birthdays, our school country fair and my workshops I have been flat chat!!  But LOVIN' it!!!!  Life is GOOD.

So in between all this, finding time to create is a challenge.  But I did manage a 5 minute card yesterday to share with you.  I love to challenge myself when I only have a few minutes to create something with what I have on my desk.  And while the result is not elaborate, it works for a simple Thank you card.  What do you think?

The stamp is Ippity (of course) and comes from the Bitty Pixie Paisley set.  And that gorgeous doily???  That is from Papertrey Ink and I LOVE IT!!  It comes as a set of three and they are divine.  I think these will definitely be used in my Stamp-a-Stack coming up soon.  Keep an eye out for details.

Cheers
